Happetly Ever After Pet Care
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything You Need to Know
Entrusting the care of your beloved pets with someone new is never an easy decision, and likely you have a lot of questions about how it works. The most common questions are listed below. For additional information, please get in touch.

ARE YOU BONDED & INSURED?
Absolutely! We carry the highest levels of insurance & bonding coverage to ensure your peace of mind during your trip. We will be happy to provide you with our certificates should you wish to see them.
HOW MANY VISITS PER DAY DO I NEED?
Its up to you! Our advice is to keep your pet(s) on their normal schedule so that they are as calm & happy as possible in your absence. For dogs this usually means 3 or 4 visits per day so that they are appropriately exercised and kept on their potty relief routine. (Please note we do not offer more than 4 visits per day.) If your cats are usually fed wet food twice per day then we recommend 2 visits.
CAN I LEAVE MY PET AT YOUR HOUSE?
We have a firm belief that pets are safest and most comfortable in their own home. Therefore we do not take pets into our own homes.

MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. WILL YOU TAKE THEM?
We offer a "Pet Taxi" service to shuttle your sweet peas over to the vet if need be. Hopefully they love to hear "Who wants to go for a car ride?!" And yes, we will even help with you with your sneaky vet-avoidant cats. Should your pet have an emergency medical issue while under our care, you will be notified immediately & we will get them either to your local or emergency vet at your instruction. Their safety is our paramount concern!
ARE YOU ABLE TO MEDICATE MY PET?
Yes! We are able to pill cats and dogs and to give subcutaneous injections. Please make sure to let us know about your pet's medical conditions when you first reach out so that we can provide you with a sitter equipped to meet your specific needs.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?
Whether we will be able to care for your rare or exotic pet will depend on sitter availability as our sitters' expertise varies. Please reach out though! Most of our staff members are eager to learn and undergo specific training!
